Waiting in the rain
I like it.
*On hold till MA thesis is done*
I have had many yummy dishes here and there as I expected. Unfortunately, my stomach has been extremely sensitive for days.
Maybe it is because I had been away for quite some time. Watching all new trends in the new generation, I've felt out of place in a crowd from time to time.
I might made a wrong decision.
At least it was never my intention to make anyone unhappy.
Now I'm sandwiched.
And a cloud of uncertainty has formed in the sky.
Brian's new neighbor at the 4F has a cool metal door. Maybe it can scare ghosts away?
(Chinese hate anything that associates with the number "4" because it rhymes with the word "death".)
We stood under a roof and stared at those soaking wet bikes in the rain. Here at last, we found a new home.
In terms of photography, it's weird how one's mentality differs from place to place. In Taiwan, nothing much triggers me to pick up my camera and shoot. I get too comfortable at home.
Six million meters away from the States, I still attend a speech in English. Nevertheless, it was very interesting and inspiring.
The night would have been great if my mom didn't start yelling at me like a mad man because I couldn't catch a bus and get home before 11. (I'm a grownup for Christ sake!) By the way, she was the one who signed me up for the speech.
At Danshui, we bump into a few street cats by the river shore. For some reason, they are extremely shy and afraid of people.
I refused my dad to hang this old painting in my room. I don't want to be haunted by myself.
So he put another oil painting twice the size above my bed. When an earthquake comes, it would fall and smash me in half at night. Groovy!
A swallow's home was built on the roof of a pedestrian sidewalk outside a MacDonald's. Fast food to go?
First thing first, Dan, thank you for the ride to LAX. This is for you buddy! Enjoy~ :>
It has been almost a year and half since I've been home. My flight is tonight. Come back to check out my photos of Taiwan! See ya~
The AV show for our China project happened tonight. Everyone looked smokin hot~
I was called to the stage to talk at the last minute, but it went well I guess. People laughed when I talked, so I guess I'm funny? :>
The crazy white moth rests on the men's bathroom door at a gas station. People give an odd look when they see my kneeling down in front of the door.
Old ball, new court. It's time for me to move on with my life, and get the show started! :>
I know I know, but I'm super duper busy. I do like nice close-ups.
Soon you all will see a totally different scene. I'll be heading back home for 2 weeks! It's been a year and 4 months since the last time I saw my family.
I have so much to do, and so little time. An unintentional coffee break became a three-day stay at Ari's again.
Look what I had found on the ceiling of a random Italian restaurant! I look up when I'm bored.
Ari's mom has an interesting lighting and decoration going on at her place. I find myself in a big mirror on the wall.
A giver who cares a lot about her friends and loves to help the ones in need. Sometimes she reminds me of my younger sis back home. :>
Ari, DeeDee, and I have a quick get away to Bay Area for a day. This is just an appetizer for our upcoming road trip after this session! Yay~
Here are some cool looking steel poles for constructing the pavilion at Santa Barbara Bowl this season.
The technician polishes one of the newly made fountains on State Street. Big palm trees that were moved as mentioned previously were replaced with..... guess what? Small palm trees!
Roxy and Rosco... my landlord's most beloved puppies. They are totally spoiled just because they are cute?! Cat says, "Chihuahuas belong to the same category with pandas."
This is the moment what all dogs have been waiting for... A feast of leftover BBQ ribs for the entire week! Woof!
